What is Secret Shares?
Secret Shares is the name for the crowdfunding campaign that was completed by Secret Cinema on Crowdcube. If you have logged into the Investors Portal successfully this means that you are a Secret Cinema Investor because you invested during the crowdfunding campaign.
What are the levels of Investment?

How do I redeem my rewards?
Rewards can be redeemed through the Investors Portal. Rewards will be shown in the portal with instructions on how to redeem.
How does the Investors Portal work?
Investors will be prompted to create an account or log in using their existing Secret Cinema account. Rewards will be shown in the portal with instructions on how to redeem. You will also be able to see rewards you have already redeemed and any outstanding rewards. You must login using the same email address you have used to invest on Crowdcube.
I live outside of the UK, are my rewards redeemable?
Yes, all rewards can be redeemed regardless of location.
Priority Booking
Can I use Priority Booking on any show?
Yes, Priority Booking can be redeemed on Secret Cinema events where Priority Booking is available for Investors.
When do Priority Tickets go on sale?
Investors will be eligible to redeem their free and discounted tickets 24 hours prior to general on-sale. An email will be circulated to relevant investors, which will include a link to redeem priority tickets and further instructions. Tickets are subject to availability. Additional tickets can also be purchased at this point too.
If you are an O2 customer and you receive Priority Tickets you will not be able to redeem your Investor free or discounted tickets using O2 Priority Tickets. You must use the Priority Booking to redeem your tickets via the email.
I didn’t get a ticket via Priority Booking to the show I wanted, what can I do?
There are enough tickets to ensure all investors receive their free tickets and discounted tickets on each show run. In the event you do not secure a Priority Ticket at the date and time they are released, you can still redeem your free tickets and discounted tickets via the Investors Portal.
How often can I use Priority Booking?
Investors can use Priority Booking for Secret Cinema shows until the 31st December 2025.
Free Tickets
Where/How do I redeem my free ticket(s)?
Login to the portal and follow these steps:
- Sign-in to the Investor Portal
- Select the show and date you’d like to attend (At this point, you can also purchase additional tickets if desired).
- Enter your details in the checkout
- The tickets will be issued to your email address

How many free tickets will I receive each year?
Free ticket amounts are based on the level of investment an Investor has made. See below for a breakdown:

Can I use all of my ticket allowance in one go?
Yes you can use your yearly ticket allowance in one booking if you would like to. For Investors who receive yearly tickets, you will only be allowed to use your yearly allowance in one booking and not your total reward allowance. For example Tier 08 Investors can use their yearly allowance of six VIP tickets in one booking but they cannot use their full 24 ticket reward allowance in one booking.
When do tickets reset for the next year?
If you receive yearly tickets, your tickets will reset in January each year.
Can I bring a friend using my free tickets?
Yes you will be able to bring a friend using your other ticket. You will need to book each ticket using the one time code on the Investors Portal. Non Investors must be accompanied by Investors at all times at Secret Cinema Events.
There isn’t a VIP ticket for the show I want to see, what can I do?
Unfortunately not all Secret Cinema shows have VIP tickets available. Investors will only be able to redeem their VIP tickets on shows where VIP tickets are available. If a Secret Cinema show does not have a VIP ticket type, Investors can redeem their VIP ticket type on a Standard ticket but they will not get the normal benefits of a VIP ticket.
I’m now unable to attend this event, can I give my ticket to a friend?
Yes you can transfer your ticket to a friend. However, we’d be happy to transfer your ticket to an alternative show date to ensure you can attend (subject to availability).
Can I purchase tickets for family and friends in conjunction with my free ticket(s)?
Yes, when redeeming your free Investor ticket(s), you can simultaneously purchase additional tickets for your family and friends.
Can I purchase discounted tickets for family and friends in conjunction with my free ticket(s)?
Yes, when redeeming your free Investor ticket(s), you can simultaneously purchase additional discounted tickets for your family and friends if you receive this reward at your investment level.
I didn’t get an email with my ticket confirmation.
After booking your free ticket(s), if you’re unable to find the email confirmation with your tickets, you should also check your Spam folder first. Alternatively, you can access your booking from the ticket provider’s website, using your login details used through the booking process. If you do not have login details please contact the ticket provider directly. For any other issues please contact [email protected] for further assistance.
If I am unable to redeem my ticket(s), can I transfer it over to the following year?
All free tickets must be redeemed within the time period. If you do not redeem your free ticket during this period, the ticket can’t be transferred to the following year.
I’m an Investor and I will require accessibility assistance at the event.
We aim to make our experiences accessible to everyone. Blue Badge holders, Freedom Pass holders, and PIP/DLA recipients are entitled to a free carer ticket which can be reserved in conjunction with your free ticket(s). Please contact [email protected] to request more information. Please refer to the event FAQs for further information on event specific accessibility access.
Am I able to use my camera, phone, or recording device now that I'm an Investor?
Cameras, mobile phones, and other recording devices will be locked into an opaque bag for the duration of your experience and must not be used. If you are seen to be using your device, it will be confiscated and returned to you at the end of the experience. However, if you need to access your phone in the event of an emergency, a member of staff will be able to advise you where you are able to do so.

Where/How do I redeem my discounted ticket(s)?
Login to the portal and follow these steps:
- Sign-in to the Investor Portal
- Select the show and date you’d like to attend (At this point, you can also purchase additional tickets if desired).
- Enter your details in the checkout
- The tickets will be issued to your email address

Can I use all of my discounted ticket allowance in one go?
Yes you can use your discounted ticket allowance in one go, as long as it’s before the expiry date.

Queue Jumping
What events can I Queue Jump on?
Queue jumping is available on select shows where there is a VIP entrance. Investors will be required to wear their pin to show proof of their investment tier in order to use the queue jump.
Secret Cinema Poster
How do I redeem my Limited Edition Secret Cinema poster?
To redeem the poster you must login to the Investor Portal and select the reward to redeem. You must then confirm your postal address where your poster will be delivered. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery after the redemption window has closed.
Posters are only redeemable if you have attended a show. This means that you have registered on the website with a valid ticket code using the email address associated with your investment.
Posters are redeemable after the show run has ended. Posters must be redeemed in the period set out on the portal, this is usually one month. After this point the poster can’t be redeemed for this show.

Secret Pin
How do I redeem my Pin?
To redeem the pin you must login to the Investor Portal and select the reward to redeem. You must then confirm your postal address where your pin will be delivered. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery after the redemption window has closed.
Pins must be redeemed within the first one month of the Investors Portal opening. After this point the pin can’t be redeemed.
I haven’t received my pin, who do I contact?
If you have any issues with redeeming your pin or it hasn’t arrived after eight weeks from the portal opening, please contact [email protected] for further assistance.
What is the purpose of the Pin?
Your pin will signify that you are an Investor to our cast and crew, who may enhance your in-world experience.
Do I have to wear my pin?
All Investors must wear their pins to the event they have redeemed their free or discounted Investor ticket(s) for. Investors can also wear their pin to events they have bought tickets for. On arrival you must show your ticket along with your pin and ID to gain entry.
Can my friend wear my pin?
Please do not let non Investors wear the pin, as the pins are for Investors only.
What happens if I lose my Pin?
Please notify us immediately if your pin is lost or stolen by contacting [email protected].
Secret Gift
How do I redeem my Secret Gift?
To receive your gift you must login to the Investor Portal and select the reward to receive. You must then confirm your postal address where your gift will be delivered. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery after the redemption window has closed.
Tier 05 and 06 Investors will need to redeem their Secret Gifts within the first four weeks of the Investors Portal opening.
Tier 07 and 08 Investors will receive gifts annually. For the first Secret Gift, this will need to be redeemed within the first four weeks of the Investors Portal opening.
Tier 07 and 08 Investors will be notified when future gifts are available in the portal and they will have four weeks to redeem them.

VIP Stylist and Costume Experience
How do I redeem my VIP Stylist and Costume Experience?
To redeem the experience, Investors must log in to the Investors Portal and register their interest for the experience. Investors will be able to pick a time slot and date to redeem their experience.
When will the experience happen?
More details on the date and time will be provided in the Investors Portal closer to the time of the event. All experiences are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
What will happen at the experience?
Investors will be able to choose a costume for a Secret Cinema event and be styled by a VIP costume stylist for one show, subject to availability.
Investors will be given a £40 voucher towards a costume of their choice which will be available for purchase at the experience. Various sizes and styles will be available to match the Investors character for the show. Accessories may also be available for purchase.
When can I redeem my experience?
Investors will be able to redeem their costume experience on specific events as listed in the Investors Portal and notified by email. Costume experiences are not available on all Secret Cinema events.
Once all Investors have redeemed their costume experience, there will be no further costume experiences available.
Can I keep my costume?
Yes, all purchased costumes can be kept by you.
Will you be able to do alterations to the costume?
No alterations will be offered, Investors must buy the costume in their own size and arrange any alterations themselves.
Set Tour with Creative Director
How do I redeem my set tour?
To redeem the set tour, Investors must log in to the Investors Portal and register their interest for the experience. They will then be emailed with further information. There will be one set tour per show run.
What happens at the set tour?
Investors will have an opportunity to walk around the set with a Creative Director when the show is not open and learn more about the creative development for the show. Investors will have the opportunity to meet some of the cast members but this is not guaranteed.
How long is the set tour?
The set tour will be one hour long. Guests must leave promptly after this time to allow the cast and crew to prepare for the next show.
I’ve got tickets for the same night as the set tour, can I wait around after the tour for the show?
Unfortunately all guests must leave promptly after the tour so we can prepare for the show. You will be allowed re-entry with your ticket when the show begins.
Can I bring a friend with me to the set tour?
Investors can bring one guest with them to the tour.
Will there be other people there or is it a private tour?
The set tour will be open to all Tier 07 and 08 and will not be a private tour. You will be taken round in a small group.
Premium Flights and Tickets to an Overseas Show
How do I redeem my premium flights and tickets to an overseas show?
To redeem the flights and tickets, Investors must log in to the Investors Portal and register their interest to organise the experience and a member of our Customer Service team will contact you directly.
I live outside the UK, can I come to the UK to see a show?
Absolutely. ‘Overseas’ is defined as a show that is in another country to the investor's home country.
Will you cover anything else on the trip?
Secret Cinema will only cover the cost of the flights up to a value of £2,500 per person and VIP tickets to a Secret Cinema show. All other costs must be paid for by the Investor.
Who can I give my second ticket to?
Investors can give their second ticket to anyone they wish, as long as they are accompanied by the Investor and both guests are over 18. If the Investor wishes to make two single trips then this is also possible.
How long is the trip?
Investors can specify how long they want their trip to be as long as the value of flights per person is not exceeded.
Can I upgrade my flight?
If you wish to upgrade your flight this is absolutely possible but Secret Cinema will only cover the cost of the flights up to a value of £2,500 per person. Any costs above this amount must be paid for by the Investor and their guest.
Can I book a one way flight?
No, all journeys must have a destination and an origin.
Will I get any benefits with the flight tickets?
Benefits will come as standard with the flight ticket type purchased. For example, if your ticket allows you to have lounge access or free food and beverage onboard, you will be able to redeem those benefits. Additional benefits outside the ticket type purchased will not be supplied.
I need to change my itinerary, how do I do this?
If you need to change your itinerary before the journey, please contact [email protected]. Please note that any associated costs with changing your travel itinerary will be passed on to you.
The flight has been delayed/cancelled, how can you help me?
Secret Cinema cannot be held liable for flight delays and cancellations and any associated costs. We would advise you to speak with the airline provider for further information and guidance on onward travel. If you have any issues please contact [email protected]
If the Secret Cinema show is cancelled, will I be able to rebook my trip?
In the unlikely event that the show is cancelled by Secret Cinema, we will endeavour to rebook your flights and show tickets subject to availability.
Can I transfer my flights to someone else?
Investors must travel with their guest so their flights cannot be transferred, however the Investor’s guest can be changed prior to commencement of travel. Please contact [email protected]. Please note that any associated costs with changing your travel itinerary will be passed on to you.
One of us has become ill and can’t travel, what do we do?

I need a visa to travel, will you arrange this for me?
Secret Cinema will only be responsible for acting as your agent in booking your flights and show tickets. Investors and travellers must ensure they comply with the terms and conditions in order to fly.
At a glance this means:
- Checking country entry requirements
- Obtaining necessary visas and travel documents
- Having a valid passport that is in good condition
- Complying with all laws and regulations
- Paying for local taxes on arrival if necessary
- Allowing security searches and baggage inspection
- Complying with the flight providers terms of carriage
- Paying for all other associated costs with the trip
- Ensuring baggage doesn’t exceed weight limitations
- Ensuring baggage is packed well and doesn’t contain prohibited items
